Margaret Estill

Mickey Margaret Estill, 91, of Sedalia, MO, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Lincoln Community Care Center in Lincoln, MO. She was born on June 15, 1925 in Evansville, IN the daughter of Adam and Vera Gunn Dickman, who preceded her in death.

On September 7, 1946 in St Louis, MO, she was united in marriage to Donald Eugene Estill, who preceded her in death.

Margaret grew up, and along with her husband Don, raised her family in the St. Louis area. Her joys were simple things of life, mostly spending time with her family and sometimes fishing trips with her husband. She deeply loved all of her family including her grand-dogs, most recently Scout. In addition, she was a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.

She would want to send out special thanks to so many of her caregivers and friends of these past few years. These include the staff and friends at the Essex in Sedalia, all of the caregivers at the Lincoln Community Care Center in Lincoln, Crossroads Hospice, and Dr. Donald K. Allcorn. You have all loved her and cared for her beyond measure and she probably told all of you that she loved you. She would often say: “Whatever the Lord wants”. She was always giving her life to her Saviour.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Lietzow (Steve) of Sedalia, MO and Denise Bouquet (Keith) of Chicago, IL; her twin sister Mildred Saake of St. Louis, MO; two granddaughters, Michelle McNutt (James) and Christa Merritt (Robert) of Lee’s Summit, Mo; and six great grandchildren, Jonas, Josiah, and Joyah McNutt, and Chasity, Carter, and Owen Merritt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Dr. Eddie Brown, officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the Funeral Chapel.

Burial will be at a later date at Memorial Park in St. Louis, MO.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Down Syndrome Guild of Kansas City in honor of Owen Merritt or Maplewood Church for the Educational Building Fund in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
