Madison Delaney Baloy, 26, of Tampa, FL, formerly of Sedalia, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at her home in Tampa, FL. She was born on September 28, 1997, in Lompoc, CA, the daughter of Nathan Baloy / Lucky Joe Talmage and Carissa Bree (Adams) Talmage, who reside in Sedalia.
She was engaged on March 6, 2023, to Louis Risher of Easton, MD. Madison and Louis were planning a November 2024 wedding ceremony. Louis resides in the home with their beloved fur baby, Binks, in Tampa, FL.
Madison was raised by her mother and stepfather (her daddy). She was the epitome of a military child and flourished in her ever-changing academic environment. Madison was a 2016 graduate of Central High School in Grand Forks, ND. She went on to further her education at Salisbury University, Salisbury, MD, where she graduated in 2020 and received a BA in English with a concentration in Linguistics. After graduation, Madison found a career opportunity to teach kindergarten in Florida.
Madison was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, where she was saved and baptized at the age of thirteen. She enjoyed all things Disney, going to theme parks, traveling, hiking, camping, cooking, baking, attending music festivals, and being a successful content creator on social media. Madison especially loved her role as a nanny caring for and developing the minds of children.
In addition to her parents and fiance, Madison is survived by a brother, Dylan Talmage of Sedalia; biological father, Nate Baloy, of Phoenix, AZ; maternal grandparents, Debbie Mickan (Rick) of Sedalia, and Walter "Doc" Adams (Joanne) of Orlando, FL; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Madison was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents Dorothy and Herbert "Hub" Petree.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2024, at Rea Funeral Chapel, 3510 W. 16th St., with pastor Rusty Thomas officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, prior to the service at the chapel.
The burial will be at Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery, Sedalia, MO.
Pallbearers will be Dylan Talmage, Brandon Adams, Tim Wiedermann, Kyle Houston, Sean Kuykendall, and Clyde Ditto.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for the future development of a Hospice House in the Sedalia community in Madison's name, in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
