"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
Lyubov was born December 16, 1940, in Vologda, Russia. She was the daughter of Alexander and Anna Vorobyov. They had one son, Pavel, and three daughters, Yevgenia, Zoya, and Lyubov. She was the youngest of four.
Lyubov was six months of age when her father Alexander was taken into World War II, and she never saw him again! As she was growing up and learned how to read, her mother would gather her friends, and Lyubov would read the Bible to them and teach them songs since none of them knew how to read. When they gathered, they had to hide and read with a dim light because communists would walk by multiple times a day, especially in the evenings, to listen through the windows to hear if people were gathering to read the Bible and worship or pray. If they caught anyone, they would fine them significantly; some would even go to prison.
Lyubov went to college and became a plaster. In 1960, her family moved to Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Lyubov met Vladimir while working on a construction site. They attended a church there together. They both got baptized together in April 1961. Then, shortly after, they married on July 31, 1961, with whom Lyubov lived for 63 years. God Blessed them with 10 Beautiful, God-loving kids- four girls and six boys, Natalia, Anatoliy, Valery, Gennady, Svetlana, Vitaliy, Dimitry, Vladimir, Olya, and Elena; 50 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren. Lyubov was a multitasker. She worked as a dispatcher at the fire station, and at the same time, worked full-time as a plaster and also took care of her 10 children. In 1977, the family moved to Mariupol, Ukraine, where they served the Lord with their open house for church services. She always hosted with gladness!
Lyubov and Vladimir had many weddings in their home besides hosting church services and events. She was an amazing cook! Then, in August 1989, the whole family immigrated to the USA and lived in Sacramento, California, where they were members of the Bethany Church for 25 years. In 2016, Vladimir and Lyubov moved to Sedalia, Missouri, where they became Word Of Life Church members.
Lyubov really loved the Lord and praying. She loved singing and praising God; she was very passionate about Jesus!
Lyubov was a loving, caring, faithful wife!
We will always remember Lyubov as a wonderful, loving, caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother!
We will reunite in Heaven soon!
We Love you, Mamachka!
