Obituary For Louis Gero

Louis Eugene Gero, 58, of Sedalia passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in Craig, Colorado. He was born on December 27, 1957 in Sedalia, the son of Louis Earl and Virginia (Evans) Gero, who preceded him in death.

On August 30, 1986, in Las Vegas, NV he was united in marriage to Leisa R. Harding, who survives of the home.

Louis was Co-Owner of M&L Construction. He was currently serving on the board of the Pettis County Fire Department. He loved to go fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.

Besides his wife Leisa, he is also survived by three daughters, Melissa Gero of Midland, TX, Natasha Gero of Liberty, MO and Tayler Gero of Sedalia; a granddaughter, Taelyn; a brother-in-law, Mike (Lisa) Harding of Sedalia; two sisters-in-law, Teresa (Tim) Lawton of Warsaw, Lynn (Brian) Allen of Wichita, KS; mother and father-in-law, Fred and MaryAnn Harding of Sedalia; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Sedalia, with Brad Pollitt officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the funeral chapel.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike Harding, Jeff Durrill, Ray Harris, Billy Millsap, Bob Jackson, Jeff Ransdall.

Honorary bearers will be Frank Garrison, David Loveland, Brice Bell, Kevin Bryant, John Cook, Jeff Schmutz, David Stone, Steve Collier.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Gero Grandchildren Education Fund, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
