Lindsey Marie Winkler, 25, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 at her home. She was born on April 27, 1991 in Sedalia, the daughter of Benson L. Winkler and Coleta M. Tull, who reside of the home.
She was a 2009 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School were she was active in the JROTC, A+ Program. Lindsey attended First Baptist Church. She work as a CNA at Rest Haven Convalescent Home. Lindsey loved spending time with her son, family, and friends. She enjoyed camping and swimming. Lindsey had an outgoing personality and always lit up a room when she would walk in.
In addition to her parents she is also survived by a son Avery Alexander Winkler of the home; a brother, Joshua Andrew Winkler; two sisters, Sara Meyer and Amber Sian all of Sedalia; maternal grandparents, Lisa and Tim Allee of Sedalia; paternal grandfather, Benson Winkler, Sr. of Marshall; two nieces, Aurora Dawn Winkler and Lydia Rain Winkler; two uncles, Daniel Howard and Treshaun Allee; eight aunts, Angie and Mikenzie Allee, Corissa Butts, Jessica Taylor, Megan Davis, Angela Vanderpool, Sandra Winkler Cunningham and her husband Luke, and Debra Winkler Riley and her husband Michael; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Tilli and Daniel Howard; her paternal grandmother Kathryn Winkler; and an uncle, Mitchell Allee.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jerry Jones officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
Burial will be at Dresden Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
