Linda Sue Johnson, 59, of Nelson, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at her home. She was born on June 1, 1958 in Sedalia, the daughter of Robert E and Mary S (Greer) Bennett, who preceded her in death.
On December 11, 1976, she was united in marriage to Randy Eugene Johnson, who survives of the home.
Linda loved her family more than life. She enjoyed attending her grandkids' ball games, camping, and riding the motorcycle. She worked 38 years as the Court Clerk for the City of Sedalia and frequently volunteered as a coach for Special Olympics. She was a faithful member of Hopewell Baptist Church and will be dearly missed by all.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two children, Kimberly Cornine (Eric) of Nelson, MO and Kevin Johnson of the home; two siblings, David Bennett (Beverly) of Hughesville, MO and Becky Dedrick (Rene) of Sedalia, MO, mother-in-law, Melvina Arnett, two sisters-in-law, Debbie Caton and Peggy Van Oss; one brother-in-law, Ray Arnett; and two grandchildren, Marissa and Monty Cornine.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson Earl Cornine.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, February 9, 2018 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, MO with Pastor David Owens, officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Rea Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be at Berea Church Cemetery, Postal, MO.
Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics or Hopewell Baptist Church in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
