Leonid Galchenko

Leonid Galchenko, 79, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014. He was born on May 9, 1935 in the Caucasus, Kabardino-Balkaria, Nalchik, a son of Ivan and Mariya (Orlor) Galchenko.

In 1957 Leonid was united in marriage to Marya Yegorovna Trushkova, who survives of the home.

Besides his wife, he is also survived by his children, Fedor and Valentine Galchenko, Lena and Vladimir Nesenchuk, Natasha and Paul Oleynik, Taya and Alexander Kondenko, Igor and Luba Galchenko, Sergei and Anya Galchenko, and Paul and Alla Galchenko; as well as 39 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Rev. Gregory Limansky officiating.

Visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia.
