Lela Mae Hendrickson

Lela Mae Hendrickson, 96, of Sedalia passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, MO. She was born on May 30, 1922 in Sedalia, MO the daughter of Albert and Gussie Mae (Burford) Stevenson, who preceded her in death.

On March 12, 1948 in Sedalia, MO. she was united in marriage to Robert Hendrickson Sr., who preceded her in death on October 16, 2007.

Lela worked for Zephr Manufacting in Sedalia for 20 years and later at a daycare as a child caregiver. She loved flower and vegetable gardening, cook and bake. Lela loved collecting porcelain dolls. She loved animals especially her beloved little poodle "Sally". She was an avid church member and will be fondly remembered for her many years of service with her husband as a pastor's wife.

Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Mabry of Sedalia, Sherry Vinson (Randy) of Sedalia, and Leasa Hendrickson of Tucson, AZ; a son, Daniel Hendrickson (Penni) of Sedalia; eight grandchildren, Chris, Molly, Chicara, Lacy, Dustin, Laura, Ashley, and Kim; 24 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew.

In addition her husband, she was preceded in death by her twin brother, James Stevenson and brother Bill Stevenson; a grandson, Sidney Mabry..

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Chris Cantrell and Chris Mabry, officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the chapel.

Burial will be at Crown Hill, Sedalia, MO.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Galloway, Adam Judd, Brandon Gross, Brian Vinson, Patrick Brown, and Chris Mabry.
