Larry Dean Priesmeyer, 63, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. He was born on July 14, 1959 in Sedalia, the son of Louis Priesmeyer and Cora (Peek) Priesmeyer, who preceded him in death.
In January of 1997, Larry met his life companion, Jarrod Crook, who resides in the home.
Larry attended Smith-Cotton High School and later received his GED in 1993 from Ray French High School, Jefferson City, MO. He worked for Domino's Pizza and a delivery driver and later became assistant manager. He also worked as a newspaper carrier for the Sedalia Democrat since 2000. Larry and Jarrod also owned and operated Wizard's Gifts and Gadgets in Sedalia. Larry enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and was known as a people person. He loved to visit with anyone that would walk up to him. Larry will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Along with his life companion, Larry is survived by three sisters, Donna Bishop, Shirley Colvin, and Pat Dawson, all of Sedalia; a brother, Delbert Priesmeyer of Fayetteville, AR.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by four sisters, Kathleen Priesmeyer, Betty Dawson, Velma Suetter, and Virgie Fox; a brother, Harvey Priesmeyer.
A celebration of life gathering with family and friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
