Laronda J. Selecman, 66, of Sedalia, MO passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021, at her home. She was born on February 6, 1955 in Cameron, MO the daughter of Donald Tittsworth Sr. and Wilma Nadine (Brisendine) Tittsworth Estes, who preceded her in death.
On July 31, 1981, in Rushville, MO she was united in marriage to Ronald L. Selecman, who resides in the home.
Laronda was a member of Lake Creek United Methodist Church and volunteered at their annual camp meeting. She worked for Missouri Press Metals for 25 years, retiring in February 2020. Laronda enjoyed going fishing, camping, doing crossword puzzles, having a relaxing glass of wine, and loved her furry four legged companion "Lacy". She especially loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons, Kenneth Ptomey (Misty) of Smithton, Brian Ptomey of St. Joseph, MO, and Bradley Ptomey (Karry) of Sedalia; eight grandchildren, Derek (Audra), Destiny (Mark), Skyler (Zaida), Preston (Melissa), Laronda (Blake), Tanner, Jonathon, and Brenden; seven great grandchildren and three more on the way; ten siblings, Donald, Terry, Alice, Randy, Brenda, Leeroy, Russet, Marshall, Scott, and Tammy; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother James; two nephews, Jimmy and Matthew; and step-mother, Virginia.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Lake Creek United Methodist Church with Pastor Jason Veale officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
