Kevin Douglas Woolery

Kevin Douglas Woolery, 53, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia He was born on November 26, 1969, in Sedalia, the son of David Walter and Jane F. Woolery.

Kevin was a 1988 Smith-Cotton graduate. He lived all his life here in Sedalia. He was well known for building and fixing things. He was always willing to lend a hand, even without being asked. He always knew a little bit about everything and was willing to learn more if he didn't. He partnered with his father and two brothers early in his career with their home improvement business. Later on, he developed his own successful portion of the business. When he wasn't stuck on a ladder, he was working on his hot rods and going to car events with his son and friends. Kevin loved fishing, playing golf, and custom woodworking. He enjoyed going to the lake and spending time with his family. He was a devoted father, son, and friend.

Besides his parents, Kevin is also survived by one son, Samuel Woolery; two brothers, Jeff Woolery and his wife, Christina, and Christopher D. Woolery and his wife, Michele.

Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert G. Woolery, Margaret M. Woolery, John M. Westermier, and Agnes S. Westermier.

A celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Rea Funeral Chapel, with pastor Candace Fowler officiating.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
