Obituary For Kenneth Hughie Schrader Jr.

Kenneth Hughie Schrader Jr., 74, of Vallejo, California, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Extended Care in Vacaville, California. He was born March 5, 1947 in Sedalia, Missouri, the son of Kenneth Schrader Sr. and Flora (Esser) Schrader, who preceded in his death.

He was married to Lillian in the Philippines in 1967 who preceded him in death in 2021.

Kenneth served in the military Navy Branch in 1965 followed by the Coast Guard as a medic, an E8 Master Chief till retirement.

Kenny loved his country and his job.

Kenny is survived by one sister, Valemeeta Pearl Luper and her husband Dick of Missouri; one brother, Eldred Schrader and wife Peggy Schrader of Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Kennadean Long and Joy Nolting both of Missouri.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Highpoint Cemetery, Hughesville, MO with Pastor John Nevills. Full military honors will be conducted by the United States Coast Guard and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.

Pallbearers will be Scott Schrader, Gary Snyder, Robert "Bob" Snyder, Vaughn Loomis, Luke Loomis, and Jason Kurtz.
