Kelly Shepard Morris, 54, of Sedalia, passed away at her home on Saturday, May 6, 2017. She was born May 29,1962 in Pittsburg, KS, to George and Mary Helen Shepard. She married her other half and best friend, Terry Dale Morris, on May 27, 2000 and he survives of the home.
Also surviving are her mother Mary Helen Shepard of Chillicothe; one daughter and son-in-law, Keith and Madeline McCubbin of Republic; one son and daughter-in-law, Hunter and Kim Hutcheson of East Prairie MO; two grandchildren, Mya and Brantley McCubbin; one sister and brother-in-law, Dwight and Renee Jones; two nieces, Jessica Harrison and Amanda Knapp and nephew, Benjamin Jones; four great-nephews, Gunner and Tristin Harrison, Hudson Williams and Cole Knapp; one great-niece, Harper Williams.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Shepard and Uncle David Shepard.
Kelly was a long time resident of Sedalia. She attended college at the University of Central Missouri. She loved spending time with her grandkids, especially crafting with her grand-daughter Mya. She loved to cook and enjoyed reading true crime novels and gossip magazines. She enjoyed visiting garage sales on the weekends and absolutely adored her family..
Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 am on Wednesday, May 10, 2017at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church Wea, Bucyrus, KS. A Rosary will be said at 11:00 am during visitation, by Deacon Tom Rothermich.
Graveside service will be held following visitation at the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
