Karen Kay Thomas, 58, of Sedalia, MO passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Fair View Nursing Home in Sedalia. She was born on June 13, 1962 in Sedalia, the daughter of John Repinski who resides in Louisiana and Betty Pringle, who preceded her in death.
Karen enjoyed crocheting, sewing and living life to her fullest. She worked most of her life as a Registered Nurse for Bristol Manor Nursing home in Sedalia. Karen also worked for Rival and Lemaires. Her free spirit set her apart for a life full of fun. She loved to cook and fed many meals to her family and friends.
Karen met her special friend, Tony Gerard, who taught her to raise bottle calves. She enjoyed all animals and playing with the calves. They enjoyed riding the gravel roads on four wheelers. Her free spirit will live on in everyone that she knew, and her warmth, love and laughter will be missed by many, but never forgotten.
Karen is survived by three sons, Mark Pringle, Jeremy Beaman and Steven Thomas; one brother, Rick Pringle; one sister, Bobbie Wolfe; six grandchildren, Harley Pringle, April Marie Kay Beaman, Olive Hathaway, Echo Grace Thomas, Eve Rain Thomas and Elton Thomas; additional family, Donnie Taylor, Alexis, Bailey and Josh Batman, Kylee McMullin, Nicole Brown, Kaleb Wolfe, Kaden Wolfe, Chrishaud Brown, Dustin Bailey and Mike Sleeper.
Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Thomas and one sister, Debbie Wheeler.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 3802 South New York, Sedalia.
