June Ann Reno

June Ann Reno, 65, of Sedalia, MO passed away August 9, 2021 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. She was born on January 4, 1956 in Harrisonville, MO the daughter of Vernon and Ernestine (Wales) King, who preceded her in death.

On October 14, 1978 in Sedalia, MO, she was united in marriage to Melvin D Reno, who preceded her in death.

June loved many things, most of all her girls. She enjoyed vegetable gardening, cooking, planting flowers, playing BINGO, fishing, and mushroom hunting. Her whole neighborhood knew her as grandma. She never knew a stranger and would open her home for anyone that needed a hand

June is survived by two daughters, Tami Reno of Sedalia, MO and Keli Reno (Jake Hull); one grandchild Carson; two step-daughters, Jackie Couchman (Marshal) of Green Ridge, MO, Chris Newland (Steve) of Canyon Lake, TX; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters, Janet Conrad of Plano, TX and Julia Davis of Sedalia, MO; four brothers, James King (Frances) of Harrisonville, MO, Jerry King of Windsor, MO, Gary "Butch" King (Sharon) of Leeton, MO, and Joe King (Sarah Shelton) of La Monte, MO.

Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Joanne Hobusch and Joyce Brookshier; and one brother, Seth King.

A Celebration of life, gathering of friends and family, will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
