Judy M. Meyer

Judy M. Meyer, 78, of Sedalia, MO passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at EW Thompson Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sedalia. She was born on August 13, 1942 in Sedalia, MO the daughter of Raymond and Lena Kuykendall (Klein), who preceded her in death.

On June 4, 1960 she was united in marriage to Gene Meyer, who has preceded her in death in 2016.

Judy's children and grandchildren were the most important part of her life. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Additionally, Judy was a very active member of Beta Sigma Phi International. She had perfect attendance for over 50 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Robin Williams (Robert) of Sedalia; two sons, Rick Meyer (Darlene) of Sedalia, and Roddy Meyer of O'Fallon, MO; four granddaughters, Miranda, Caty, Maggie, and Carley; two grandsons, Nathan and Lucas; one sister, Mary Ellen Vinson of Sedalia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, James Kuykendall.

The family would like to give special recognition to the staff at EW Thompson Health and Rehabilitation Center for lovingly caring for Judy.

A Mass of Christian burial service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sedalia, with Father David Veit officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Vincent de Paul Parish in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
