Joshua Wade Bridges

Joshua Wade Bridges, 32, of Sedalia, MO passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021, in Tallahassee, FL, as a result from an automobile accident. He was born on January 22, 1989, in Sedalia, MO a son of Ronald Wesley Ballance, who preceded him in death and Kari Lynn (Trotter) Wilson and her husband Roger Wilson of Sedalia.

He enjoyed life to the fullest and had such a big heart. Josh LOVED his music! He was always writing songs and was so talented. His smile could light up any room, and his laugh was contagious. Josh had dreams of one day starting his own clothing line. He was a joy to have around would brighten everyone's day. Josh was loved by all that knew him and will be missed by so many.

In addition to his mother and step-dad, he is survived by two brothers, Andy Bridges of Sedalia and Shane Bridges (Heather) of Rochester, MN; two sisters, Heather Bridges of Sedalia and Kirsten Kowalski (David) of Green Ridge, MO; five nieces and four nephews (Josh was extremely close to his nephew, Kamryn and niece, Mya). He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Carol Dodd of Sedalia; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joe Trotter, and paternal grandparents, Ruth Ann and Homer Calvert; and a niece, Kiana.

A Celebration of Life gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
