Joshua (Josh) Corpier, a lifelong native of Sedalia, MO, passed away unexpectantly Friday, July 1, 2022, in California, MO, at the age of 38.
Josh is survived by his mother Brenda Hall, his brothers Roy and Harley, and his sister Lindsey Hall. He is also survived by 4 nieces (Emerie, Dakota, Ariana, and Eve) and 5 nephews (Victor, Christian, Alex, Hayden, and Roy JR).
Josh was born in Sedalia, MO, February 17, 1984, at Bothwell Hospital to Brenda Hall and Joey Corpier. He attended Smith Cotton High School and worked as a laborer at Tyson and Duke. While Josh did not have children of his own, he cherished his nieces and nephews and loved being called Uncle Josh.
Josh enjoyed time above all. He was not one to dream of fame and fortune, or mansions and cars. He was very humble and lived life his own way. Whether with his family or friends, he preferred the comforts of life above all. Josh was known for his appetite and would never turn down an invite for a good old fashion BBQ.
Joshua was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and had a keen eye when he spotted vintage Chiefs gear in the antique shops. While he enjoyed watching the game, he loved, even more, watching with his friends and family and couldn’t wait for the football snacks. Josh was also a very emotional man. Never scared to shed a tear and always ended every phone call with “I Love You” instead of saying bye.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16th in the fellowship hall at the First United Methodist Church located at 916 Thompson BLVD. Sedalia.
