John Allen Snow, 68, of Sedalia, passed away Monday September 12, 2016 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO. He was born on July 20, 1948 in Sedalia, the son of Raymond F. and Mabel (Parsons) Snow, who preceded him in death.
On April 18, 1975 in Sedalia he was united in marriage to Barbara Ramey, who survives of the home.
John enjoyed NASCAR Racing, Smith-Cotton High School Football, Mizzou Football, going to the casinos, and sitting in the back yard and figuring out the world with his wife, Barbara. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Besides his wife, Barbara, he is also survived by a daughter, Heather Snow of Independence, MO; a sister, Linda Gosnell of Sedalia; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Carl Snow and Bob Snow; and a sister, Betty Snow at infancy.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dan Hankins officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, rural Sedalia, MO.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
