John Martin Walker

John Martin Walker, 44, of Sedalia, MO passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021 at his home. He was born on February 2, 1977 in Sedalia, a son of Hugh and Janet Walker

John was raised in Central Missouri and attended public schools in Sedalia, La Monte and Smithton. He graduated college from CMU in Warrensburg and earned his paralegal degree in Tennessee. John enjoyed his years working as a paralegal in Tennessee and Missouri. He loved sports and was a lifelong Royals baseball fan.

He is survived by his father, Hugh "Butch" Walker of Sedalia; two sisters, Holly Dow (Tyler) of Warrensburg and Marlo Siron (Sean) of Sedalia; maternal uncle, Michael Biggs of Marshall; two maternal aunts, Rhonda Zink (Bob) of Windsor and Karen Thornton (Dennis) of Sedalia; cousins, Carrie Howieson (George) of Sedalia, Tonia Weaver (Frosty) of Sedalia, Bob Zink (Stephanie) of Columbia, and Julie Naylor of Sedalia; nephew, Asher and nieces, Taylor and Emma.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Heimsoth; maternal grandparents, Martin and Gladys Biggs; paternal grandparents, John and Matilda (Tillie) Walker; and his paternal uncle, J.R. Walker, Jr.

A service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
