John Joseph Panichi

John Joseph Panichi Jr, 43, of Sedalia, MO passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021, at his home. He was born on January 9, 1978, in Camden, NJ the son of Giovanni Panichi, Sr. of La Monte, and Donna (Godwin) Harold of Knob Noster.

On March 17, 2006 in Warrensburg, MO he was united in marriage to Holly Ann Link, who resides in the home.

John graduated from Knob Noster high in 1996 and graduated from ITT Technical Institute in 2011 with an Associate’s degree in Drafting and Design. He always worked so hard to support his family. When he wasn't working he enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his wife and children. On August 3rd, 2018; three days after the birth of his granddaughter, Braydelynn, John was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. He always maintained such a positive attitude and took his new found illness as a gateway to educate his community on the benefits of Cannabis and FICO oil. He started a Facebook page where you could ask questions, educate others, share positive vibes and more importantly, to show love and support of those in pain. Johnny is known to the Cannabis community as “The Dabbing Daddy". He has brought light into every single life he entered. From needing a hug or just a smile, John was there. He has always been someone you can rely on and would drop what he was doing to help a friend in need. Thousands of friends and family but not a single bad word can be said about this selfless, passionate and genuine man. He will forever be missed, not only by his wife, children, grandchildren and mother but by the entire Cannabis community. You are forever in our hearts John, fly high. Stay safe. Stay high. Stay healthy.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by three children, Breauna Panichi-Morris (Jordan) of Sedalia, Giovanni Panichi, III (Bethany) of Warrensburg, and Evio Panichi of Sedalia; two grandchildren, Marley Williams and Braydelynn Morris; four siblings, John E. Panichi (Michelle) of Pennsylvania, Deneen Panichi-Bellino (Vincent) of Pennsylvania, and Joseph Panichi (Nicole) of Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, James Godwin and Elizabeth Murphy; and Paternal Grandparents, Dante and Filomena Panichi.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2021, at Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Honorary bearers will be Nick Woodward, Danny Kinnison, Jason Fischer, Jason Miller, and Kenny Mullis.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
