Joanelle Hall

Joanelle Francis Hall, 78, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 07, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital of Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on November 14, 1938 in Riverside, California, the daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Freeman) Shapley, who preceded her in death.

On February 7, 1977 was united in marriage to Clifford Hall, who preceded her in death on January 24, 2009.

She enjoyed Bingo, going to the casino, fishing and camping and hanging out with her best friend, Becky. She was a Pentecostal and always loved to hear Rev. D.O. Curtis preach a service.

She is survived by her six children, Virginia Coomarsingham (Ranjit) of Lee's Summit, Donnie Ray Salmons (Tina) of Sedalia, Sherry Harris (Billy) of Sedalia, Kim Barnett (Joe) of Sedalia, Hank Salmons (Tammie) of Sedalia, and Tracy Gordon (Joe) of Omaha, NE; one stepson, Clifford D Hall of Independence, MO; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; three siblings, Sarah Anderson, Dottie Stevenson, and Rex Shapley all of Sedalia; and her special friend, Dennis Nicholson.

Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her first husband Donald Salmons and her brother Paul Shapley.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, MO, with Rev. D.O. Curtis, officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.

Honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren.
