After his military service, he returned home and pursued HVAC training in Marshall, MO, working alongside Ralph Grotsinger for many years.

Jerry and his wife, Sherri, owned and operated Beverly's Restaurant and The Honey Hole Pro Shop with his brother, Allen. He was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in hunting, fishing, and spending time at the Sedalia Rod and Gun Club.

In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by four stepchildren: Jeffrey Henthorne of Spring, TX, Jodi Davis (Terry) of Gardnerville, NV, Jacalyn Henthorne (Sharon) of Spring, TX, and Michele Henthorne of Spring, TX; a brother, Norbert Allen Brosch (Linda) of Sedalia, MO; his stepfather, Elmo Pfetcher; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Michael Brosch; and two sisters, Carol Ann Catron and Mimi Kirkaby.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with pastor Aaron Roberts officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the United States Army and Sedalia VFW Post #2591 at the graveside.
