Jean Paul Ingram, 72, of Sedalia, MO passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016 at his home. He was born on October 13, 1944 in Hermitage, MO the son of James Stanley and Goldie (Mitchener) Ingram, who have preceded him in death.
He was united in marriage to Frieda George on March 9, 1963, who survives of the home.
Jean Paul grew up in Urbana, MO and attended Skyline High School. He attended barber school in Kansas City, MO and barbered for over 50 years. They lived in the Kansas City area for several years before moving to the Lake of the Ozarks where they resided for 18 years. They transferred to Overland Park, KS before retiring to Sedalia, MO. Jean Paul was a member of First United Methodist Church, Sedalia. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge #272 and the Abou Ben Adhem Shriners. He loved music, sports, gardening, traveling and camping, but most of all his family. He was so proud of his grandchildren.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Michael Ingram and his wife Kelly of Sedalia; and three grandchildren, Alison, Hannah and Jackson.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Gilbert, Dee and Wilbur Ingram; and sister, Wandalee Riley.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Rev. Jim Downing officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. A Masonic service will be conducted to close of the visitation.
Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia.
Pallbearers will be Jim Lewis, Bill Curry, Tom Eckdahl, Mike Smith, Hadley Frederick and Wilbur Brockhoff.
Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Shriners Hospital for Children in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
