Jarod Edward Elliott

Jarod Edward Elliott, 40, of Sedalia, MO passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 in Sedalia. He was born on February 25, 1981 in El Dorado Springs, MO.

Jarod, is the son of Kathy and Doug Elliott. Our father longed for, wanted and loved Jarod; a lifetime before he ever existed. Our mother, Kathy, helped my father fulfill that dream of having Jarod. Jarod is an incredible man; a son, father, best friend and confidant. He poured everything that he had into those he loved. He will be missed forever.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiance, Tiffany Kruse of the home; two children, Addison Elliott and Makena Elliott; two sisters, Crystal Shumaker of Boiling Spring, SC and Jennifer Templeton of Sedalia; two brothers, Jeremy Henderson of El Dorado Springs, Shane Lakin of Springfield; maternal grandparents, Bill and Charlene Henderson of El Dorado Springs; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jacob Elliott; his paternal grandparents, Edward and Fannie Elliott.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2021 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bryan Morris officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Burial will be at Antioch Baptist Cemetery, Green Ridge, MO.

Pallbearers will be John Bayless, Shane Lakin, Jeremy Henderson, Phil Shumaker, Erik Gonzalez, Adam Templeton.

Honorary bearers will be Oscar Bullard and Jason Fick.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for an educational fund for Jarod's children in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
