Janie Lynn Files

Janie Lynn Files, 72, of Indpendence, MO, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at her home. She was born on August 1, 1947 in Sedalia, MO, the daughter of Clair Ewing and Margaret Genevieve (Ross) Files, who preceded her in death.

Jane enjoyed fishing, being at the lake, reading, and spending time with her cats.

She is survived by a brother, Daniel W. Files and his wife Cory of Clinton, MO; two nieces, Kattie Worman and her husband Daniel of Hale, MO, and Kelly Rogers and her husband Mike of Holt, MO; and three great nieces, Presley, Henley, and Boe; two great nephews, Sawyer and Thatcher; and her confidant and friend, Ann Sampson.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Ross Files.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
