Obituary For Janice Angela Marie Ward

Janice Angela Marie Ward, 41, of Centertown, formerly of Sedalia, passed away at her home on Sunday, October 31, 2021. On November 26, 1979, she was born in Sedalia, the daughter of Larry W. Sherman and Karen L. (Vinson) Sherman, who reside in Centertown.

On January 17, 2011, in Centertown, MO, she was united in marriage to Scott L. Brodbeck, who resides in Springfield, MO.

As a child, Angela loved to spend her free time in church. Some of her fondest memories include riding behind her brother's bicycle in a wagon. She was heavily involved with family life and spent a lot of time with aunts and uncles. Growing up, she was kind-hearted and devoted to her family, which passed on into her adult life. She went on to have four children, whom she loved and adored. She spent her days at home caring for them and helping her mother. Her family will always remember Angela as a comedian.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by four sons, Trey Ward, Brayden Ward, Chase Ward, and Naythan Ward, all of Centertown. a brother Chancey Sherman (Cindy) of Sedalia; two sisters, Apryle Lewis and Amy Lamb of Sedalia; two nieces, Hayley Sherman and Mackenzie Proctor (Dakota) of Sedalia; two nephews, Jeremy Lewis (Amanda) and Zack Sherman of Sedalia; paternal grandmother, Doris Register (C.A.) of Georgia; and Juliette Sherman, of Kansas City, MO.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mabel and Melvin Vinson; and paternal grandfather, Rev. J.D. Sherman.

At 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2021, funeral services will be held at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joe Skiles, Sr., officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m; until 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2021, at the chapel.

Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens, Sedalia, MO.

Chancey Sherman, Dakota Proctor, Jeremy Lewis, Trey Ward, Brayden Ward, and Scott Brodbeck will be pallbearers.

Honorary bearers will be Chase Ward and Naythan Ward.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
