James Woodman

James A. "Woody" Woodman, 69, of Sedalia, MO passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at his home. He was born on January 19, 1952 in Wichita, KS the son of Thomas Woodman Jr. and Doris (Truitt) Woodman who preceded him in death.

Jim was a 1970 graduate of Ruskin High School in Kansas City, MO and a 1972 graduate of Longview Community College, Kansas City. Jim especially loved spending time with his family, aunts, uncles, cousins, and siblings at gatherings in Longton, KS. He enjoyed all kinds of auto racing.

Survivors include three siblings, Bette Hayden (Gary) of Sedalia, Bob Woodman of Sedalia, and Ramona Slagel (Dan) of Modesto, CA; and several other family members.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Rea Funeral Chapel with his brother-in-law, Daniel Slagel officiating.

Burial will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery following services.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
