Obituary For James Ordell Mitchell

James Ordell Mitchell, 68, of Warsaw, MO passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, MO. He was born on May 7, 1951 in Sedalia, the son of Robert James and Rita D. (Doucetta) Mitchell, who preceded him in death.

Jim loved fishing, spending time with family, and taking Mr. Dog everywhere he went.

Survivors include three sons, Adam Mitchell (Paula) of Bellevue NE, Noah Mitchell of Sedalia, and Christopher Mitchell (Brandi) of Winder, GA; two sisters, Barbara Herdman (Bruce) and Sue Rogers (Don); one brother, Jerry Mitchell (Teresa); and nine grandchildren, Drake, Braden, Jarrett, Izac, Cameron, Brooklynne, Jillian, Charlise, and Sunnie.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Mitchell.

A celebration of life gathering of family and friends will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, MO.
