James Elmer Dillon

James Elmer Dillon, 69, of Sedalia, MO passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Fair View Nursing Home. He was born on January 10, 1951 in Sedalia, MO the son of Walter C. Dillon and Betty (Schutte) Dillon, who preceded him in death.

Jim was owner of J & W Antiques in Sedalia for many years. He loved going to auctions and collecting antiques. Jim enjoyed going fishing, camping, and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Royals fan.

Survivors include two brothers, Calvin Dillon and Patrick Dillon (Chong) both of Sedalia; five sisters, Helen St. Cin (Ed) of Pleasant Hope, MO, Elizabeth Lewis (Gary) of Green Ridge, MO, Hannah Hebert (Ricky) of Sedalia, MO, Amy Bradley (Alvin) of Sedalia, and Stephanie Dillon of St. Louis, MO; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Dillon.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Highland Sacred Gardens, Sedalia.

There will be no visitation.

Pallbearers will be Calvin Dillon, Patrick Dillon, Jonathan Dillon, and Matthew Dillon.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
