Irene Lucille Viebrock

Irene Lucille Viebrock, 87, of Sedalia passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia. She was born on November 26, 1935, in Sweet Springs, MO the daughter of Clyde Hunter and Florence (English) Hunter, who preceded her in death.

In April of 1982, she was united in marriage to Wayne W Viebrock, who resides in the home.

Irene was a 1954 graduate of Houstonia High School. She worked for 20 years for Con Agra in Marshall, MO, and then as a waitress at various different restaurants. She enjoyed doing crafts and going to craft shows. Irene loved working in her yard and especially loved spending time with her family.

Along with her husband, Irene is survived by a son, Mark and his wife Shannon; a sister, Donna Watson; two brothers, Roy and his wife Susan and Bobby and his wife Liz; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by a son, Joe Renfrow and a son in infancy; three brothers, Clyde, James and Henry Hunter; a sister, Mary Fletcher.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Deacon Turf Martin officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at the funeral chapel.

Burial will be at Sunset Gardens Cemetery, Marshall, MO.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sedalia Senior Center in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
