Henry Lee Heldstab

Henry Lee Heldstab, 88, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on June 24, 2024, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center in Sedalia. He was born on December 21, 1935, in Tuscumbia, MO, the son of Wesley Heldstab and Minnie Wood Heldstab, who preceded him in death.

He married Billie Marie Pryor, who preceded him in death.

He started working for the Missouri Department of Conservation in 1962, until his retirement in 1990. Following that, he enjoyed traveling, his favorite place being Texas.

Henry is survived by a son, Charles Heldstab (Karen); a daughter, Roni De Jong (Mark); two grandsons, Tyler Heldstab and Mitchell De Jong; and two granddaughters, Angela De Jong and Krista De Jong (Cody).

Besides his parents and wife, Henry is preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille and Ila Mae.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Missouri Department of Conservation in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

He will be laid to rest in his hometown of Tuscumbia next to his wife and family at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
