Henrietta Bremer

Henrietta "Skip" W. Bremer, 90, of Sedalia passed away Friday, September 4, 2021, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center in Sedalia, MO. She was born on August 21, 1931, in Sedalia, MO the daughter of Paul Simon and Anna (Biere) Simon, who preceded her in death.

On August 6, 1950 in Harrison, AR. she was united in marriage to Jimmie E. Bremer, who preceded her in death on November 14, 2008

Skip was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, Sedalia. She was a homemaker. Skip enjoyed spending time at the lake with her family and friends and working in her flower gardens at home. Skip will be remembered for her story telling, her good sense of humor, and her pranks she would pull on her family and friends. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include a son, Jeff Bremer of Sedalia; two daughters-in-law, Janie Bremer of Boonville, MO and Carol Bremer of Columbia, MO; a son-in-law, Rick Lewis of Hughesville, MO; grandchildren, Paul Michael Bremer (Hilary), Aric Bremer (Angie), Jill Bremer, Lauren Howell (Matt), Amy Franke (Eddie), Tommy Lewis (Jenna), and Josh Lewis; twelve great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Paul Bremer and Jimmie Bremer; a daughter, Cathy Lewis; three sisters and two brothers.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021, at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jule Maskrod, officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Sedalia, MO.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Lewis, Josh Lewis, Aric Bremer, Eddie Franke, Steve Collier, Matt Howell, and Dakota Kroeger.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
