Obituary For Heather (Willard) Smith

Heather Elizabeth Willard Smith of Dumfries, VA, passed away January 18, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on March 19, 1976, in Sedalia, MO. Heather attended Striped College Elementary, Whittier Elementary, and Smith-Cotton High School. She attended State Fair Community College, Sedalia, with a two-year degree, and attended CMSU in Warrensburg, MO. She enlisted in the United States Army and attended boot camp at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. Prior to being employed with Wells Fargo in McClean, VA, Heather worked in banking in the Springfield, MO area. She leaves behind her husband, Mark and a daughter Kennedy Rhyan; her husband’s parents, Hal and Isabel Smith; a brother-in-law Brian Smith; her parents, Mel and Debbie Willard; a brother Matt Willard; two sisters, Jessica Pyle and her husband Andy, and Katie Swanson and her husband Doug; four nephews; one niece; and her grandparents, Cleo Willard and Bob and Jean Salmon. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Parkview Christian Church in Sedalia, MO, with Rodney Brown and Jessica Pyle officiating. Casket bearers will be Mark Smith, Matt Willard, Doug Swanson, Brian Smith, Andy Pyle, and J J Garcia. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Sedalia, with military honors. Family will receive friends from noon until the time of service. Memorial contributions are suggested to Capital Caring Hospice, Manassas, VA, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, MO. Arrangements under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
