Harold Dwight Ream, 75, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO. He was born on June 10, 1949, in Sedalia, MO, the son of Harvey N. Ream and Dorothy B. (Hall) Ream, who preceded him in death.
On August 16, 2014, in Forsyth, MO, he was united in marriage to Linda S. Fisher, who resides in the home.
Harold was a 1967 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, and in 1971 graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri, Rolla, MO. Harold worked at Central Missouri Electric Cooperative for 34 years, with ten years as General Manager.
In addition to his wife, Harold is survived by two step-sons, Eric Fisher (Shawna) of Smithton, MO, and Robert Fisher (Stacey) of Sunrise Beach, MO; four grandchildren, Colby Fisher (Madelyn), Whitney Marcum (Chris), Ashlyn Fisher, and Brady Fisher; three great-grandchildren, Jackson, Carson, and Hadley; his mother-in-law, Lula Capps of Versailles, MO, four brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; numerous cousins; and his fur baby, Lucy.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Rea Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Candace Fowler officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
The burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia, with full military honors conducted by the United States Army and Sedalia VFW Post # 2591.
Pallbearers will be Alan Ream, Ivan Ream, Seth Ream, Lawrence Ream, Linden Ream, and Lindsey Ream.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Retrieving Freedom in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
