Gregory E. (Greg) Richardson, left this earth, peacefully, on Thursday, October 20, 2016 after a long struggle with cancer. He was greeted on the other side by his Dad, his buddies; Steve, Ed and Rudy, to name a few and many relatives.

Greg was born on January 31, 1951, in Sedalia, MO, to Mary Lou (White) and George Richardson. He attended Green Ridge RVIII elementary and high school, where he graduated.

Greg worked in credit and collections in many financial institutions in the Kansas City area. He moved to Washington State, with his wife, Eileen Kelly to continue working in the same field. There he met and married Jennifer Mantle in 1982 and their first son, Lucas was born. In 1986, the family settled back in Green Ridge, where their second son, Andrew was born.

Greg followed a new career in real estate sales, successfully becoming involved in buying and selling farms, homes and land. Among his many occupations and trades, Greg worked as an electrician close to home, around the mid-west and overseas. He also bought, remodeled and sold homes with his family. The last home remodel project was done with and for his son, Lucas.

Greg is survived by his sons Lucas (Emma Dieckman) and Andrew (Danielle), and their mother; soon to arrive granddaughter, Emersyn Grace; his Mom, Mary Lou Richardson; sister, Georgia Lou Stevens; nephews Beau and Colter Stevens, and his very dear friends Tonya Young and John Bronson who helped care for him in his final days. He also leaves more friends and relatives, way too many to list but you know who you are. We will all miss you Greg/Dad but rejoice in your peace.
