Glenn Moore

Glenn Moore, 87, of Green Ridge, MO, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at his home in Green Ridge. He was born on November 22, 1935, in Sedalia, the son of Joseph Moore and Leone Shaw, who preceded him in death.

Glenn was married in 1956 to Pansy Jackson. On December 4, 1981, in Oklahoma. he was united in marriage to Deanna King, who resides in the home.

He retired from the railroad after several years of service. He then returned to work at the State Fair and later retired again. He enjoyed traveling and family get-togethers in his spare time.

Besides his wife, Glenn is survived by his four children, Connie Moore, Glenn Alan Moore, Joey (Michelle) Moore, and Cindy Moore; four step-sons, Charles King, Stephen King, James Hood, and Eric King; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald (Ginger) Moore; one sister, Pat Groshans, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Douglas Moore; four brothers, J.L. Moore, Dee Moore, Bob Moore, and Buddy Moore; and one sister, Betty Lou Moore.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Rea Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Al Oetman officiating.

A visitation will be from one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Sedalia, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
