Obituary For Geraldine Lee Marshall

Geraldine Lee Marshall, 89, of Lincoln, MO, formerly of Waterloo, IA, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia, MO. She was born on July 19, 1934, in Waterloo, IA, the daughter of Elmer Bearbower and Zelma (Harrison) Bearbower, who preceded her in death.

On September 19, 1953, in Kahoka, MO, she was united in marriage to Harold H. Marshall, who preceded her in death on December 11, 2007.

Geraldine moved to South Carolina in 2012. She thoroughly enjoyed living there with her daughter, Kim. Geraldine's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her life. She enjoyed baking and cooking for family gatherings during the holidays and special occasions with her family. Geraldine was known for her incredible ability to cook and bake.

Survivors include three daughters, Debra L. Bristow, of Waterloo, IA, Kimberly A. Marshall, of Lincoln, MO, and Robin R. Burton (Gary), of Lincoln, MO; five grandchildren, Cole (Jillian), Cayler (Abigail), Garin (Brittni), Jalyn (Jeff), and Darian (Brendan); eleven great-grandchildren, Paige, Kohon, Macie, Wesley, Stella, Fiona, Echo, Oaklyn, Jaxon, Renlee, Tripp, and one on the way.

In addition to her parents and husband, Geraldine was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin and Robert Bearbower, and two sisters, Velma Johnson and Phyllis Pichelmann, and a son-in-law, Roy Bristow.

The family will have a Celebration of Life gathering with family and friends at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Full Gospel Lighthouse Church, in care of William Witt, PO Box 13546 Anderson, SC 29624.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
