George Kevin Reeves

George "Kevin" Reeves, 69, of Sedalia passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at his home. Kevin was born on April 19, 1955 in Lander, WY, the son of the late Marlon Gracen Reeves and Mary Louise (McCombs) Reeves, who preceded him in death.

On October 19, 1998 in Oklahoma City, OK, he was united in marriage to Patricia Gayle Brown, who resides in the home.

Kevin was a retired Union pipefitter for the Local 619. He served as an Associate Pastor, participated in several church missionary trips, and was a member of motorcycle ministries. He was a 1973 graduate of Jacksboro High School, and he later furthered his education by successfully completing his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and anything that involved spending time outdoors.

In addition to his wife, Kevin is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Shank (Jeff) of Holliday, Texas, Morgan (Danny Morgan) of Justin, Texas, and Katrina Lovell (Brandon) of Burkburnett, Texas; three sons, Scott Reeves (Tonya) of Graham, Texas, Joel Reeves (Kaela) of Sedalia, Missouri, and Justin Clay of Wichita Falls, Texas; 22 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; one brother, Gary Reeves (Ruby), and one sister, Anita Wade.

In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Reeves and his brother-in-law, the late Clinton Wade (Anita).

A celebration of life gathering with family and friends, to be located in Texas, will be announced by the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Retrieving Freedom or a local charity in Kevin's honor.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, Missouri.
