Obituary For Gayle E Briese

Gayle E. Briese, 61, of Eldon, MO formerly of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Bothwell Regional Health Center. She was born on April 13, 1960 in Sedalia, the daughter of Bill Thompson, who preceded her in death, and Linda (Dickerson) Thompson, who resides in Sweet Springs, MO.

On October 9, 1998 in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Clifford Banks, who preceded her in death on November 17, 2005. On July 1, 2016 in Eureka Springs, AR she was united in marriage to Ralph Briese, who resides in Eldon, MO.

In addition to her late husband and father, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Canyon Nichols.

Gayle owned and operated Banks Antiques and Collectable in Sedalia. She later worked for Chelsea's Antiques in Sedalia. Gayle enjoyed being outdoors, flower gardening and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by three children, Jonathan Jones of Jackson, MO, Jason Nichlos (Heather) of Sedalia, and Rebecca Bartel of Jackson, MO; a sister, Billie Sue Price of Sweet Springs, MO; five grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Jayse, Kyowa, and Maddison; a niece, Missy Hammonds of Hughesville, MO; and three great nephews, Alex, Dallas, Trenton.

A Celebration of Life gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
