Gary Warren Duncan II, 47, of Sedalia, MO, passed away with family at his side Monday, December 13, 2021 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. He was born on October 17, 1974 in Jacksonville, NC the son of Gary Warren Duncan I and Rebecca (Collins) Duncan, who preceded him in death.
On May 20, 1997 in San Diego, CA. he was united in marriage to Tina M. Herbert, who resides in the home.
Warren proudly served his country honorably in the United States Navy from 1993 until 1997. He really enjoyed his career working as an over the road truck driver for Ditzfeld Transfer out of Sedalia, MO. Throughout his life he was tech savvy and involved in computer gaming.
Warren strived to keep his body, mind, and spirit grounded with his beliefs. He was extremely dedicated to his wife, Tina and devoted to his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with Tina, the children and grandchildren. He took joy in passing on his knowledge. He was teacher, protector and so much more. Warren was looking forward to the future. He had plans of having a country safe haven for himself, Tina, the children and grandchildren to be together.
In addition to his wife Tina Duncan, he is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Sorrels and Jesika Bartlett both of Sedalia; a son, Sean Herbert of New Bern, NC; nine grandchildren, Faith, Ayden, Hope, Dakota, Corey, Xavier, Owen, Zoe, and Jayden; two brothers, David Duncan of Virginia, Phillip Duncan of North Carolina; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
