Gail Mae Arnold, 82, of of Sedalia, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at The Bluffs Care Center in Columbia, MO. She was born on February 10, 1936 in East St. Louis, IL a daughter of Floyd E. and Hazel P. (Jackson) Farris, who preceded her in death.
On September 28, 1962, in Santa Ana, CA, she was united in marriage to William "Bill" Arnold, who preceded her in death on January 4, 2015.
Gail was a member of New Bethel United Methodist Church, south of Sedalia. She loved square dancing and was a member the "Grinin' Square Dance Club" for 25 years. Gail also enjoyed sewing and traveling.
She is survived by three brothers, Don Farris (Lou) of Columbia, MO, William E. Farris of Orange, CA, and Charles C. Farris (Nora) of Blue Springs, MO; two granddaughters, Kellie Campbell and Traci Richardson; five great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Bill, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Daunita Cordes and a brother, James G. Farris.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at New Bethel United Methodist Church with Pastor Mary Biesemeyer officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Inurnment will be at New Bethel Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to New Bethel United Methodist Church in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
