Fred was born June 18, 1968, in Sedalia. He resided in Sedalia for 24 years before moving to Tucson, Arizona where he worked in Construction building multimillion dollar homes. He injured his back and moved back too Sedalia after having surgery. He then entered trade school at State Fair Community College as an Electrician and joined his brother working for Pro-Energy. During this time, he traveled for them to Venezuela, Panama, Africa, and various places throughout the United States. His duties were to wire up large turbine engines to run for companies there. He was nicknamed the “Turbine Monkey” because he also climbed atop the giant wind turbines and wired them to run until he became disabled due to his back. He received a guitar for Christmas and quickly learned to play. He played Blues along with a Harmonica around his neck. He loved playing with his brother and a friend. He also learned to play his mother’s keyboard. They loved making music together. He had a very big heart and always brought home gifts for his family from his various travels. He was adventurous and loved camping, canoeing and Kayaking with his family and friends who he loved deeply. He was baptized as a youth at First Baptist Church in Sedalia but later moved his letter to and re-dedicated his life to Christ at Calvary Baptist Church in Sedalia where his parents were attending. He was the family clown, very adventurous, creative, ornery, and very mischievous. Just before his death he cried out to Jesus asking “Him” to please stop the pain. His prayer was answered!
