Obituary For Freddie Busker

Freddie Eugene Busker, 80, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg, MO. He was born on April 11, 1937 in Sedalia, MO the son of Alonzo "E.L."and Minnie Lee (Davis) Busker, who preceded him in death.

On October 1, 1955, in Miami, OK, he was united in marriage to Anita Jo Bottcher, who resides in Sedalia.

Fred owned and operated a commercial truck insurance agency in Sedalia for many years. He was a landlord and owned several properties in Sedalia. Fred operated a used car lot in Sedalia. He was a pilot and enjoyed flying his own plane. He was very musically inclined and enjoyed listening and playing stringed instruments. Fred served his country honorably in the United States Air Force as a Crew Chief jet mechanic. After getting out of the Air Force, he attended Alabama Christian College in Montgomery, AL. Fred served as Pastor of several Church of Christ congregations in Sedalia area.

Survivors include two daughters, Hollie Napier of Sedalia and Cheryl Goodman and her husband David of Greenfield, MO; a son Tim Busker and his wife Debbie of Knob Noster, MO; a sister, Doris Register and her husband C.A. of Alanta, GA; eleven grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Paul Busker; a brother, Ward Busker; and three sisters, Frances Carrigan, Louise Hughes, Elaine Barklage.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 16, 2017 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. C.A. Register officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery with full military honors conducted by VFW Post #2591 and Whiteman Air Force Base Honor Guard.

Pallbearers will be Jesseca Kreeb, Jamie Busker, Josh Goodman, Zach Goodman, Jacob Goodman, and Jason Busker.

Memorial contributions may be made to Missouri Veterans Home, Warrensburg in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
