Frances W. Johnson

Frances W. Johnson, 97, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Fair View Nursing Home in Sedalia. She was born on December 9, 1924, in Winfield, KS, the daughter of Delmar and Sarah B (Johnstone)Waite, who preceded her in death.

On January 28, 1966, in Tulsa, OK., she was united in marriage to Johnny Lee Johnson Sr., who preceded her in death on September 28, 2004.

Frances is survived by a daughter-in-law, Lois Gagne' from Sedalia; stepson, Johnny Lee Johnson Jr. (April) from Chelsea, OK; a sister, Sara Jane Snell from Kansas; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, and two on the way.

Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Lee Gagne'; three brothers, Delmar Waite, Leon Waite, and Charles Waite; two sisters, Edith Dana, and Leora Pettit; and a step-brother Darvin Waite.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Rea Funeral Chapel in Sedalia, with pastor Candace Fowler officiating.

Burial will take place at a future date in Fort Gibson, OK.
