Everett Tracy Biggs, 53, of Sedalia passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 as a result of a truck driving accident in the state of New York.. He was born on February 3, 1963 in Sedalia, Missouri the son of Clarence Warner and Viola (Harmon) Biggs, who preceded him in death.
On May 23, 1987 in Marshall, he was united in marriage to Amanda Jean Bowman, who resides of the home.
Everett was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Sedalia. His passion from the age of 5 was to be a truck driver. His wife Amanda, finally talked him into going to truck driving school together. He worked for Schneider Trucking for 16 years. Other than driving his truck, his favorite past time was dressing up and doing Civil War re-enactments with the 5th Missouri Infantry Confederate Army.
Besides his wife Amanda, he is also survived by a daughter, Jessica Biggs of Crawfordsville, IN; a son, Jonathan Biggs of the home; a brother, Warner Biggs of Smithton; a sister, Frances Porter (John) of Smithton.
Besides his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Biggs; and a sister Linda Montee.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Bishop Anthony Beard officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
Burial will be at Salem Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Thornton, Michael Pottorff, Gardner Pottorff, Amasa Pottorff, Nathan Beard and Richard Beard.
Honorary bearers will Jonathan Biggs, Warner Biggs, Ronald Bowman, and Jerry Lee.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
