Evelyn Faye Newman

Evelyn Faye Newman, 53, of Sedalia, MO passed away Monday, April 8, 2019 at Lee's Summit Medical Center. She was born on November 13, 1965 in Sedalia, the daughter of Walter and Norma (Reichel) Jones, who preceded her in death.

On May 11, 2001 in Lexington, MO she was united in marriage to Robert Gene Newman Jr, who passed away July 16, 2018.

Evelyn enjoyed being outdoors camping and fishing. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include six children, Steven Newman of Sedalia, Amanda Baker of Kansas, Jeccica Gunn (Mark) of Sedalia, Juanita Simmons of Glasgow, Rebbeca Simmons of Glasgow, and Tracy McDonald of Balko, OK; four siblings, Lisa Diel (Curtis) of Harrisonville, Cindy Decosta (Richard) of Latham, Angie Bushner (Doug) of Prairie Home, and Jay Jones of North Carolina; and 12 grandchildren, Ethan, Dereck, Natalya, Jamenson, Micah, Jaiden, Maverick, Kaden, Jordin, Jeremiah, Isaiah, and Noah.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2019 at Rea Funeral Chapel, sedalia, MO with Chaplin Chris Traffanstedt, officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
