Ervin proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army. He is survived by three siblings: Leo Shull of Auburn, WA; Anna Smith; and Cleo Payne, both of Sedalia. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who cherished his memory.
Ervin was preceded in death by his brother, Charles "Bud" Shull, and his sisters, Ruby Shull, Dorothy Closser, and Nellie Brownfield.
