Emma Lentz

Emma "Louise" (Lucy) Lentz, 85, of La Monte, MO, passed away Friday, July 10th, 2015 at her home. She was born on August 17, 1929 in Moniteau County, MO, the daughter of Elmer Williams and Elsie Wilson Williams, who both preceded her in death.

On September 1, 1951 in Eureka Springs, AR, she was united in marriage to Elmer Lentz, Jr., who preceded her in death on November 2, 2012.

Louise enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and cooking. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church Celebration Center of Sedalia.

She is survived by three children, John Lentz and his wife Cindi of La Monte, MO, Jo Beeman and her husband David of Windsor, MO, and Michael Lentz of Des Moines, IA; one sister, Marie Tennis of Independence, MO; two brothers, Dean Williams and his companion Rose of Independence, MO and Ronnie Williams and his wife Barb of Leavenworth, KS; four grandchildren, Jeremiah Lentz, Joshua Lentz, Cassandra Beeman, and Andrew Beeman; and five great grandchildren, Maddox, Chloe, Ethan, Hannah, and Levi Lentz.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the Celebration Center in Sedalia, MO, with Pastor Jim Downing officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO, or to the organization of the donor's choice.
