Edward Lee Hamilton, 93, of Knob Noster, MO, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg, MO. He was born on May 23, 1931, in Norborne, MO, the son of Edward "Pat" Hamilton and Mildred (Foy) Hamilton, who preceded him in death.
On September 29, 1977, in Norborne, MO, he was united in marriage to Ok Hui Kang, who resides in the home.
Edward was a proud Army veteran; he joined the Army in 1952, served in Vietnam, and retired as a Drill Sergeant in 1975.
In addition to his wife, Edward is survived by two daughters, Nora Ebert (Chris) of Yuma, AZ, and Naomi Brunner (Neil) of Lee's Summit, MO; six grandchildren; and three sisters, Betty Barker, Judy Atkinson, and Glenda DePugh.
The family will have a memorial graveside service on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with full military honors conducted by the United States Army, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.
Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
